I am currently a second year at the University of Ottawa majoring in Commerce, and although I may be young I have the determination to make anything I truly want successful. Hadi Ekaputra

“My name is Hadi Ekaputra and I am the Director of Technology for DECA UOttawa. I am currently a third year student of the University of Ottawa studying Commerce at the Telfer School of Management with a specialization in management information systems. I absolutely love technology and I always have to have the newest thing, and it is that passion for technology that motivates and drives me to keep learning and pushing my way to the top in this technology driven economy. This is my second year with DECA and this year I really wanted to get involved. The DECA conference was a great experience, and the reason I wanted to become an exec was so I could give back and share that experience with other students; that will be my goal for this year.”

“I am currently a fourth year Telfer student majoring in marketing. I have a strong passion for traveling and would love to travel across the world one day. In my spare time I enjoy expressing my creative ability by painting on canvas. My future personal goal is to have my very own advertising firm. I have been with DECA uOttawa for the past two years as a member and on the executive team. Last year I was given the title Director of Public Relations and this year as a re-elected Director of Public Relations, I plan to take my marketing skills to new heights to help make DECA uOttawa a memorable and everlasting experience for those who are and will be involved.”

Kate Dousek

“My name is Katerina Douskova, short and quicker version is Kate. This is going to be my second year at the University of Ottawa studying International Management in french immersion. (I don't really speak french, but I try too!) I am originally from Kitchener, but I love Ottawa and I am a huge senators fan. I am excited for DECA to start up, because seeing how good it was last year, I think this year might be even better. I am hoping for DECA uOttawa to make it to internationals this year in California!”
